CEO

Paul Blonk is CEO and founder of the VE Group. Paul has been connected to Vermeer Eemhaven International for over 30 years. Starting as a financial employee in the 80’s, he became responsible for the management of the company in 1991. In addition to chairing the management team, Paul Blonk has final accountability for our sales and estimating activities.

Manager Operations

Joffrey Hagendijk has been connected to the company for over ten years. Joffrey started his career as a project manager at Vermeer Eemhaven International. A few years later, he established the quality control department. In 2012, Joffrey Hagendijk was installed as Operations Manager, running all Vermeer Eemhaven International’s operational activities.

Manager Human Resources Manager Operations India

Maxim Schouten has ample experience in Human Resource positions. He joined Vermeer Eemhaven International in 2010 and established Human Resource Management for the Vermeer companies. In 2011, Maxim was put in charge of our branch office in Mumbai India. Restructuring and expanding our activities abroad. With IT, Maintenance, Communications and Organizational Strategy in his portfolio, Maxim Schouten is responsible for most non-operational activities at Vermeer.

Manager Engineering

Bert van den Heuvel worked for a subcontractor since 1995. In 2005, he and his team joined Vermeer Eemhaven International. Bert established the current Engineering Department. He has final responsibility of all engineering and work preparation activities.

Niels Hoekstra has a long history of managing large projects in different areas around the world. In 2009, he became responsible for the Projects Department at Vermeer Eemhaven International. His extensive background in mechanical engineering provides Niels with the skills to comprehend complex technical issues. Customers value his advice.

MD Vermeer Process

Robbert has ample experience in the process industry. In 2004 Vermeer Process Technology was established and Robbert became Managing Director of the filtration division of the VE-Group. In 2011 a general management team was installed managing all Rotterdam Vermeer divisions. Robbert joined this team and is active management member of Vermeer Eemhaven International as of 2012.
